Acon Digital Multiply is a free and versatile chorus effect with a unique twist. Each simulated voice is processed with a phase randomizing filter so that unpleasant comb filter effects are avoided. The effect can be used to simulate the effect of several performers playing the same tones simultaneously, to widen the spatial image or to create special effects for sound design. Multiply can simulate up to 6 additional voices and both the pitch and the loudness of the voices can be modulated. There is also an integrated equalizer consisting of low cut, low shelf, high shelf and high cut filters that can be applied to the effect signal. An integrated pre-delay section makes it possible to create modulated and diffuse echo effects. Capable of adding dynamic movement to pads, beats, basslines, vocals or whatever you wish to run through it lisc-step offers great flexibilty quickly and efficiently. it comprises of a simple state variable filter. The filter pitch can be modulated in two ways, via the 16 step sequencer, low frequency oscillator or both working together to create long sweeping and choppy progessions. Swierk is a relatively straight forward subtractive synthesizer with familiar sound generators, controls, routing, look and feel. Swierk comprises of 4 sound generators, 2 oscillators with 3 different selectable waveforms, a sub oscillator and a noise generator. 6 “internal” modulation sources can be routed via any of the 12 modulation slots to a choice of 20 destinations. 2 onboard low frequency oscillators. 2 simple ADSR envelopes and the new 8 stage envelope generator give users the ability to create a wide range of sounds. The “external” matrix is where users can route midi controls such as pitch wheel, mod wheel and velocity to 37 different destinations in any of the 8 modulation slots. The new simple preset manager allows for easy browser and file management of the 128 presets that come with Swierk. 50 of which have been created by several excellent sound designers. More presets are available for free from the saltline preset page. Swierk was chosen for OSC64.
