Flower Child Filter is the first in an upcoming series of boutique analog-style filters. Flower Child is aptly named for its goal to have a clean and resonant sound. There is also a switch for an aggressive growling version that is sure to cater to your more destructive side Flower Child Filter is a lab experiment focusing in our future series of boutique analog-style filters F.M.D release. The goal is to have many unique filters with recognizable quirks that you can select from a simple dropdown list. Flower Child presents two of the many filters we are planning on including on the final F.M.D release along with some experimental parameters that are very fun to use. Try it on drums, bass, buses, whatever! It will change your sound significantly with just a few tweaks. The audio plugin also features two envelope followers to open and close the filter. And by turning the output to 0, the amplitude envelope will open and close the output volume fully, so that the filter is still musically useful when self-oscillating. The Elsita is a soviet analog machine produced from 1989 until 1991, when RMIF went bankrupt. Although being released in a pretty late period, the Elsita was built following old standards from the mid 70’s/early 80’s : fully analog (as you can see on the picture), trigger-only, with big knobs.  The Elsita has 4 channels, which are not perfectly identical, at least on my model. It sounds more like a A/B/A/B disposition (As the colors suggest actually), but they all have the same parameters. Check the oscilloscope snapshot at the back of the page Sadly there is an issue with the chan. 2/4 generators, the sound generating process I was using created a slight delay. I replaced it with a chan. 1/3 generator, so all the sounds are identical on the actual version (1.1). I hope to fix this very soon and bring back the little waveform difference as there should have been With the emulation I added a folder containing various sounds I made with the original machine, so that you can play with original sounds, or with more versatile, clean sounds from my VST  Download We dont host any software files here. The limiter is a 'soft' limiter in that it does not provide 'brick-wall' limiting. The input signal can exceed the limiting threshold but usually no more than about 0.3 dB. Use the 'Clip' control to set a hard limit at the required threshold if necessary. Set the 'Clip' control below the limiter threshold for some hard-clipping distortion or set it to +3 dB to deactivate it completely. The limiter uses a 'look-ahead' buffer to manage the incoming signal which introduces a fixed latency of 1.5 ms into the plugin's signal flow.
